City of Lincoln Speed Survey

I just received a copy of the "new" or "new proposed" speed limits in Lincoln.They are proposing to have Joiner Parkway from Sterling Parkway to Ferrari Ranch Rd. be 40 MPH which would prohibit us from crossing highway 65 and going over to the Home Depot area. I had heard that they were going to have a bike & cart path on the new overcrossing but this would prohibit us from using it.

As I understand the Lincoln NEV Transportation Plan, a 40 mph speed limit with a NEV path is o.k.[:)]
Currently even with just a 35mph limit we are prohibited from using the overpass and must wati until the second bridge is complete and the road stripe for an NEV path.
